Steven Lukwago

I am a veterinary surgeon and the founder of Vetpal Animal Clinic, located in Kampala, Uganda. My expertise includes general medicine, surgery, dental care, and pet travel services. I am also an advocate for responsible pet ownership, emphasising the importance of vaccinations, especially against rabies, to protect both animals and their owners.

My passion for my work as a veterinary surgeon began in childhood, and I always knew I would be in a job that involved helping animals. Pets are our friends; every day, they meet us with love and kindness, and I believe I am doing my part to return that love and compassion when they need it the most. Seeing a pet and their owner, both with a cloud of desperation around them, and helping them walk out of the clinic happy and together is what makes me feel fulfilled.
