A new committee has been formed to study and document native Ugandan hunting dogs for potential future provisional recognition under FCI guidelines. The committee will conduct fieldwork across different regions of Uganda, working with local hunters and breeders to document breed characteristics, temperament, and historical use. This is an exciting step toward international recognition of Uganda’s indigenous dog breeds.
